I like how you didn't even address the question, but simply posted an insulting picture. Doesn't this only prove the creationist's point? Is this the "rational thinking" you speak about on your blog?
Sometimes, when a person shows so little skill in rational thought, we find it easier and more amusing to expose the obvious errors in their poor thought processes with funny jokes and pictures. Should they actually come to us with reasonably thought out arguments that can't be destroyed with a 6th grade science book, then we'll give them an actual debate. You don't seriously expect us to give elementary school lectures to millions of creationist adults who present poor, uneducated arguments such as this one, do you?
If you are, let me explain this for you bit by bit in case you really are that dense.
When you drink water, it does not disappear off the face of the earth. It does not magically just cease to exist. It is urinated and sweated out or expelled otherwise and rejoins the ecosystem. It then evaporates and subsequently falls as back to earth as rain or becomes ground water and eventually make it's way out to sea.
The picture is not meant as an insult. It is the answer you were looking for. If you really didn't get it, then yes, this is in fact the "rational thinking" that I speak about on my blog. I did not lay out the answer explicitly because it would be insulting to any of my readers with even a shred of critical thinking skills for me to assume that they would need any explanation as to why this is an absolutely ludicrous argument.

It's sad to think that idiots actually believe this nonsense. Seriously, that's like saying we are eventually going to run out of oxygen because every living thing that has ever been or ever will be on this planet has been using it up by breathing and replacing it with carbon dioxide !!!!!

ReplyDeleteNot sure if trolling or just downright stupid....
